The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, January 15 reveals Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) wants to make Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) dreams come true.
Also coming up, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will put Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) on blast. Plus, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) wants the truth from Billy.
Y&R spoilers tease Sally will find a note from Billy saying he’s gone out for a run. So, she’ll text Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and meet her at Society for a drink. “What’s Billy done this time?” Audra will ask. Sally will say she can’t shake the feeling that Billy’s not being honest with her.
She’ll add he was triggered when he overheard Phyllis and Cane talking about taking over Newman Enterprises. Sally will tell her that if he goes through with anything regarding his obsession with Chancellor, he’s going to lose her. Audra will ask if it would be the end of the world if Billy does get the company.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Nick Tells Phyllis His Family Will Crush Her
Meanwhile, Phyllis and Cane will return to his choo choo train, only to find Nick waiting for them. She’ll ask what happened to his leg. “The only words I want to hear coming out of your mouth is how you can justify doing this to my family!” he’ll angrily reply.
Cane will say taking out Newman Enterprises was his idea. “How long do you think you can sustain this fantasy?” Nick will ask Phyllis. “My family will fight you with everything we have, we will crush you before you get started.” Then Cane will get a text from Billy, asking to meet him. He’ll head out, leaving Phyllis alone with her furious ex-husband.
He’ll bring up Phyllis faking her death and what Summer gave up to hide her. “You promised you would never hurt her like that again!” he’ll shout. “You do understand that you’re not coming back from this!” Phyllis will tell him the fact is she and Cane have won. “All of your finger wagging isn’t going to change that, we are taking over Newman.”
Nick will accuse her of stabbing him in the back. “Don’t you look at this as a win, it’s a loss. You’re going to lose everything, starting with your family.” Phyllis will say she saw a legitimate offer and she took it. “After everything I went through this year, and at the hands of your father, how can you look me in the eye and deny that I need a win?”
Nick will admit Victor has treated her badly, but she’s gone too far. “This is karma,” Phyllis will reply. Nick will take off and return to the ranch. He’ll swallow a pain med, and call Summer. He’ll say her brother’s home, which means she needs to come home next. But Nick will add there’s something serious he needs to talk to her about.
As for Cane, he’ll meet Billy at Crimson Lights. “You and Phyllis are you going after Newman Enterprises, is that true?” he’ll ask. Cane will say yes, and the attack has been executed. “Phyllis and I practically own Newman.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Sally Gives Billy The Third Degree Again
Billy will say he’s a bit jealous Cane was the one to put Victor’s head on a platter and not him. “The program’s trajectory is infiltrating all Newman entities,” Cane will tell him. “Before you ask, Chancellor Industries will be in my possession, you still interested in that company?”
He’ll ask Cane what the angle is and he’ll say it’s a peace offering. “If you still want it, it’s yours,” Cane will tell Billy. “I feel that you are owed this and I’m glad I can make it happen. What do you say?” Billy will say he already committed to Sally and he’d like to think about it.
They’ll shake hands, just as Sally comes along and sees them. Billy will walk out from the patio. “Hey beautiful,” he’ll say. She’ll ask him how his run went and he won’t mention Cane. But she’ll say she saw them looking cozy together.
Billy will tell her Cane wanted to meet and he didn’t want to wake her up. “Why did you lie to me about going on a run and what were you and Cane were talking about?” So, Billy will be honest and admit Cane offered him Chancellor, free and clear.
Finally, Cane will return to his train and ask Phyllis if she’s still in. “Are you sure this venture is worth losing the love and respect of your kids?” Phyllis will say she’s in it until the end. “The Newmans don’t scare me,” she’ll add. “And the fact that they think they do makes me even more determined to burn them down.”
